This Privacy Policy explains how GateFlow Limited (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data through this website, in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong (“PDPO”) and its Data Protection Principles.

GateFlow Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in Hong Kong, Company No. 81206186, registered office: Unit G15, Tin Hau Apple SOLO, 14 Kings Road, Tin Hau, Hong Kong. We are the data user for the personal data described here.

1. What personal data we collect

We collect only the data you give us when you contact us:

  • your name;
  • the name of your company;
  • your email address;
  • your phone number, if you choose to give it;
  • the content of your message.

Providing this data is voluntary. If you do not give us your name, email address and message, we cannot reply to your enquiry.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.

2. Why we use it

We use your personal data to:

  • reply to your enquiry and prepare offers you ask for;
  • enter into and perform a contract with your business, if one is agreed;
  • keep records required by law.

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for direct marketing. If we ever wish to do so, we will first ask for your consent as required by Part 6A of the PDPO.

3. Who we share it with

We may pass your personal data to:

  • service providers that help us run the website and our email, including the contact form service Web3Forms and our website host Cloudflare;
  • suppliers, freight forwarders or inspection companies, but only where needed to handle your order and only the data they need;
  • professional advisers, auditors and public authorities where the law requires it.

4. Transfers outside Hong Kong

Some of our service providers store data outside Hong Kong. Where personal data is transferred outside Hong Kong, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPO.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and then for as long as required by law or for record-keeping.

6. Security

We take reasonable practical steps to protect personal data against unauthorised or accidental access, processing, erasure, loss or use.

7. Your rights: access and correction

Under the PDPO you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, to request a copy of it, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. We may charge a fee that is not excessive for complying with a data access request, as permitted by the PDPO.
